Mindy has over twenty three years of marketing, design, and branding experience. She holds Photojournalism and Journalism Graphics degrees from Ball State University and a Leadership in Publishing Certificate from the Yale Publishing Course; Yale School of Management and has worked in many aspects of advertising, marketing, and branding for companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small boutiques.
Mindy has extensive experience in the print platform and excels at developing an author’s vision into a polished, finished product. Publication design is one of her specialties and she has earned many design and publication awards for her work.

Amy Trainor Ashby
Vice President and Editor-in-Chief
Amy began her publishing career as Warren’s marketing assistant in 2007 and has worn many hats throughout the years. She holds a BA in English from Davidson College, a Certificate in Publishing from Columbia University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. Over the years she has edited books ranging in genre from children’s books, to poetry, novels, business books, nonfiction, and beyond. Amy also has an extensive background as a marketing copywriter for advertisements, digital content, and more. An avid creative nonfiction writer, Amy has been published in various local and national publications and is currently working on her first memoir.

Betsy Russell DuBard
Editor and Proofreader Betsy’s editing career began over thirty years ago, when she reluctantly agreed to be copy editor for The Tiger student newspaper. She liked it so much she stayed. After graduation, she went to work for The Sumter Item as a reporter and moved into editing two years later. She has worked as a copy editor for several South Carolina newspapers, including The Post and Courier, The Sun News, and The State. Betsy holds a bachelor’s in English lit from Clemson University and a master’s in linguistics from the University of South Carolina. Betsy is the author of a young adult novel, Eat, Prey, Blood, under the pen name Elizabeth Russell, and is currently working on the sequel. |

Allie Coker
Editor
Allie Coker has a BA in English from Davidson College as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She has taught a course on creative nonfiction at the University of Texas in Austin and was the Founder and Editor of HIP Literary Magazine. Allie is the author of one nonfiction book and her essays, poetry, and fiction can be found in publications such as Nfocus Magazine and the Yale Journal for Humanities in Medicine. She is dedicated to the art of the written word and enjoys helping others craft their best work.
